I had my first swim with Inshore Bottlenose Dolphins in Northland’s Bay of Islands back in 2000, and it was a tripy experience. Which has always mystified me slightly.

It is close to the small town of the same name on the coast of the Indian Ocean, it was our first stop on a nearly 2000 km trip north from Perth, and while it didn’t hold many birds, it certainly provided scenery in abundance.
