This includes a white Red Knot in 2011 and a Greater Sand Plover with abnormal plumage between 2016 and 2018. I thought I would rather document something rather than nothing on this occasion and if we get a chance to get better photographs then I will. Previously we have encountered birds that have been white when they should have been dark.

Then in 2011 the foresters planted wheat, and after deep ploughing wheat was left to rot in the ground, with acorns left to sprout. One European Robin disappears into the undergrowth (here it is an uncommon bird for these lowland forests, more commonly found in hilly areas). We entered an area that was clear-cut in 2010.

One of my favourite photos of a Red-capped Plover chick hiding from threats was taken in 2011 and the chick was able to hide in a footprint. Ideally vehicle use is below the high tide mark and then the shorebirds can nest without having their nests run over. Red-capped Plover chick hiding I hope you can see the chick near the toe prints!
