Here are three excellent but very different children’s books I enjoyed this year (two were published in 2013, one in 2011). Meanwhile, forts were built to protect the island from invaders, war broke out between Spain and the United States, and the island became a U.S. Dawn Publications, March 2011. The birds thrive.
