In turn, those domestic pigeons were the first domesticated birds ever, bred for their meat from wild Rock Pigeons (or Rock Doves) in the Middle East some 6000 years ago. The slaughter tourism trade in Serbia

Allow me to take you back in time, to November 2014. And that flight is illegal because EU legislation does not allow export of game meat from Serbia to EU. It is being hunted solely for food, and those who kill them certainly want their meat exported by any criminal channel available. The Turtle Dove is not a trophy animal.

Saving the Drowning Cormorant, or the Kerkini Lake, Greece

When I came here for the first time in 2014, I stayed at the Limneo B&B in the Chrisochorafa Village and met its owner, Nikos Gallios. Nikos managed to show us the incubating Cattle Egrets, of which only 2 or 3 pairs breed in this enormous heronry, counting up to 9000 pairs back in 2014. What should I expect?
