Secure Your Sales Negotiations with This Strategy

SalesFuel

At auction, I made an impulsive vehicle purchase that I soon regretted. The sweet pickup truck was intended for my 16-year-old son. Patiently, my wife explained that her son would never be safe in that truck, and that I was a fool. I got caught up in the heat of the auction, was my poor excuse. Swallowing my pride and admitting idiocy was far less painful than paying to rectify the deal.

Hoopoes and others in the winter

10,000 Birds

Living on Gibraltar, I am, at 36oN, just north of the Sahara Desert. I often wonder what the bird distribution would be like here if there wasn’t a desert. I would expect a gradient from these warm temperate latitudes down to the tropics. It must once have been like that. The desert creates a real barrier, one which splits bird distributions quite severely.

A slight majority of visits (56%) come from the USA, where 10,000 Birds was founded.

Birds in a landscape

10,000 Birds

I’m really a birdwatcher, not a bird photographer, though these days I usually carry a camera. I do so for a variety of reasons, but I admit to a strong hunting instinct, so I enjoy capturing images (trophies?), of the birds I encounter. It’s satisfying to come back from a day’s birding, download my photographs on to my iPad, and relive the excitement of each encounter.
