The first year, the female sat on the nest from the beginning of March to the end of May before abandoning the nest. In my next column, I will share more of my observations about the hawk family. For the purpose of this post being of a reasonable length, I’m only going to touch on members of the Tyrannidae family of New World Flycatchers which can be found in the cocoa estates of Trinidad and Tobago.
