Yet, Bosnia and Herzegovina was the very heartland of former Yugoslavia, with Sarajevo in its geographical centre. The road was new, the only sign of the recent times were bullet holes in a few abandoned houses, but that was a rare sight. Hence, I had to adopt a new one. No other scars were visible. And I become a Birder.
