Her business, Happy Tails Books , collects stories from people who have fostered and adopted dogs and compiles them into books that inspire others to get involved in the fight against animal cruelty. In honor of this occasion, representatives of Helen Woodward Animal Center, Bideawee, and Iams Home 4 the Holidays rang the Closing Bell, along with the help of orphan dogs and cats. Also joining the group was the Iams Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Angel Jack with his adopted dog Jane (Jack adopted Jane from Bideawee in October).
