Shy dogs are often among the first to be euthanized in shelters because they are difficult to adopt, but not at DogTown, a no-kill facility.

When we adopted them we made a commitment to care for them for the rest of their lives. This time of year, I worry about animals who are bought or adopted as gifts. And she does.
