End result – precious birding time lost and 43 adopted African kids. We stopped, wound down the window and started making squeaking sounds by rubbing our fingers over our teeth. He had mistakenly walked into a nice clump of buffalo bean whilst chasing a Singing Cisticola. I’ll never forget the sight.
