Rabbit Meadows is a rescue group out of Seattle. We’ve subsequently rescued feral rabbit populations from Rocky Reach Dam in Wenatchee, Seattle’s Woodland Park, and the Aqua Barn of Kent, insuring each rabbit a safe haven to live out the rest of their life at Rabbit meadows without threat of harm.
They are two dogs that once needed to be adopted. Someone told us it involved Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue. They eventually were (in 2007, I believe. But, the story won't die. You can read about our coverage of it here. People keep forwarding this chain email around. Or at least a version of it.
Now that we have returned to our adopted home of La Paz, Mexico, our bones are starting to thaw out from the trip to chilly Seattle. While I was in the Seattle area, there were lots of Spotted Towhees , and here in the Mexican desert there were California Towhees. Here is one of the surprising Wilson’s Warblers.
We will get started here, in our adopted home of La Paz, Mexico, work our way north to Seattle where we catch our first airplane flight to New Zealand. But, there will be a considerable amount of touristy type activities in each place, in an effort to keep a nice balance with my wife, and her photography aspirations.
