From the better late then never category, the ALDF is having a National Justice for Animals Week to raise awareness about animalabuse. Adam was rescued by an 11-year-old boy who also later identified the girls who committed the crime, allowing them to be charged with felony animal cruelty.
Here's the email I got from ALDF. It sounds like they are calling for an animalabuse equivalent of the sex offender registry. Wouldn't you want to know if a violent or repeat animalabuser were living next door to you and your family? Keep your animals and your families safe. I think it's a great idea.

The Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) today announced an effort aimed at creating public registries in each state of anyone convicted of felony animalabuse.
