An animal rights group based in the United States has ranked Quebec “the best province to be an animal abuser” in a report on Canada’s animal welfare record. That sucks. From the Montreal Gazette.

I don't believe they want an honest dialogue about what they are doing to animals. I do believe they want prestige, tenure, royalties and patent rights. I don't believe they are "brave" for "standing up" to animal rights activists. The title of this article is "Researchers to animal-rights activists: We are not afraid."
