How many people know this about the Animal Welfare Act? No wonder there is so much "farm" animal abuse out there. Humane treatment runs counter to the entire industry when the point is to make money by processing these animals as fast as possible. This is really interesting. I certainly didn't.

The Gap Between Wildlife and the Animal Rights Movement

People interested in animal welfare who are against this idea are completely missing the point here. It is simply not feasible to safely live-trap thousands of animals and conveniently move them to some rescue shelter…the time and money do not exist, and you will never remove every individual without accidentally killing some.
