We quickly came upon a pair of Gray Jays, a lifer, hopping through the technicolor birches and I set up to try to take a few photos when my companion yelled out, “BEAR!” ” A mid-sized Grizzly Bear was slowly making its way along the opposite bank of the river. What an incredible experience.
