Class "B" Animals Sold for Medical Research

I learned something new from this article. Tags: animal experimentation animal cruelty medical research. I had never heard the use of the term "Class B." It's really just a matter of luck whether an animal gets to go home to a warm bed or to a cold cage in a laboratory. Truly unfair.

Breeders Also Supply Universities with Research Animals

I didn't know that there were specific breeders out there producing animal subjects for medical research. According to this article, some are so bad that the University of California and the University of Cincinnati have actually decided to end their relationships with them and stop purchasing animals bred for research use.
