I once knew a guy who kept and raised cats. And for thousands of years the lizards, rodents, and birds of North America adapted to Fishers, Badgers, Wolverines, Ermines, etc. Un-owned cats, as opposed to owned pets, cause the majority of this mortality. But they don’t live in North America. Unless we put them there.
