And for thousands of years the lizards, rodents, and birds of North America adapted to Fishers, Badgers, Wolverines, Ermines, etc. Also, feral Cats on islands seem to be a serious problem, causing the extirpation of some indigenous species. They are invasive species. among the Mustilids, and Coyotes and to a lesser extent Foxes.
