The population of Millerbirds on Laysan has doubled , and breeding seems to be going well. Fish and Wildlife Service, the American Bird Conservancy, and other groups teamed up to translocate 50 of the birds to another island, Laysan. A recent survey of the birds suggests that the effort has been a success.

Grey-headed Lapwing in Australia

The Grey-headed Lapwing- Vanellus cinereus breeds in north-east China and Japan between April and June and then migrate to spend the winter in northern Southeast Asia from northeastern India to Cambodia and southern Japan.
