Birding Shanghai in June 2022

There was a breeding pair at Binjiang Forest Park this June. Of course, the Common Cuckoo is generally seen in a rather negative way due to its way of dealing with bringing up its chicks. We Germans of course chose a much more aggressive national bird to match our (hopefully only past) militaristic instincts: the white-tailed eagle.
