The Black-winged Cuckooshrike is breeding in several Shanghai locations – I suspect that some trees near the Nanhui hotel might be another one, given the vigorous singing of this bird. The Amur Paradise Flycatcher is another species breeding in Shanghai. Yellow-rumped Flycatchers are breeding in the same park.

Predators that rely on lemmings, like the Snowy Owl , took advantage of the bounty and had great breeding success, raising large broods which, after the lemming population crashes, dispersed far and wide. Arctic Hare also were largely ignored by predators and bred, well, like rabbits.

And what I met there was – well, a Barred Warbler, a Greenish Warbler, a Spotted Flycatcher all headed for their breeding grounds further north. Mammals Kazakhstan rabbits' But also, yet again to my utter surprise, a single Tolai Hare. what is this thing? It ain’t a camel and it ain’t a horse.

Red-backed Shrike Eurasian Blackcap A massive European Hare was cute to watch as well, a nice change from the European Rabbits that are very common in our local park. It initially ran off, but then adopted a different strategy by crouching on the ground and relying on its camouflage, its big eyes looking up at me.

Kirtland’s Warbler is a classic niche species; they breed in only very specific conditions, which occur in only a very specific area. this species breeds. Fortunately, there were still a handful of immature birds alive at sea, and a few years later they were back on Toroshima breeding again.

Each autumn, nearly the entire breeding population of the Swainson’s Hawk migrates from the temperate zone of North America to wintering areas in South America. Like most buteos, the Swainson’s Hawk feeds its young rodents, rabbits and reptiles but not so during non-breeding season. v=Q7tVjohOIdI.

In Sweden, the way they deal with rabbit problems is to shoot them and burn them for fuel. The targeted rabbits are the unwanted inhabitants of capital Stockholm's parks, which are culled to protect the shrubs and trees which they gorge on. Many of them are domestic pets released by uncaring owners which then go on to breed.
