Evening Grosbeak, Michigan. There is a wonderful place in the lower peninsula of Michigan called Hartwick Pines State Park. It’s one of the only places in Michigan where you can walk under old growth white pines. So, I was excited to read reports in late 2017 of a pair of Whooping Cranes being seen on a cattle farm.
