Even collecting one piece after another, I didn’t manage to see the whole picture, but after a lot of effort, I collected enough pieces to ID the Eastern Olivaceous Warbler , only the first of a dozen that will be chock chock chocking from fruiting mulberries. There was little movement by the family during the heat of the day except to fly to the shoreline for a drink and to cool their feet. As the tide dropped the birds started to take it in turns to collect food from a nearby reef and it took about 8 minutes for each trip. I jumped and the adults let out an alarm call and one went flat.

Anaplectes – Red-headed Weaver A male Red-headed Weaver collecting shoots for building his nest. Their nests are also a messy structure due to protective thorns on the outside, but the interior is constructed of softer grasses. All occur in the Guinea-Congolese rainforests of Africa, with Red-headed being the most widespread.

There are many more British species that resemble ours, but belong to different subfamilies or even families.
