Colorado Proposed Initiative #145 will ask Colorado voters this November whether the state should establish the position of veterinary professional associate (VPA).
Colorado voters have approved a new veterinary midlevel practitioner position known as a veterinary professional associate via a ballot measure called Proposition 129. It received 52.4% “yes” votes, with 72% of the vote tallied as of November 6, per the Associated Press.
Colorado recently enacted two bills related to veterinary medicine: one dealing with telehealth and the other on scope of practice for veterinary technicians. Jared Polis signed these into law on April 19 and March 22, respectively, after both bills received strong bicameral and bipartisan support.

Lucky enough for me, living on the Front Range of Colorado , a few large lakes at the base of the foothills make attractive stop over points as lost birds find themselves using the mountains as a guide. Jaegers come in hard and fast and can change direction at the drop of a hat to keep up with the birds they are harassing.
