I live near a small zoo. Local people who unexpectedly end up with injured wildlife in their cars tend to beeline for the zoo; especially if they have no cell phone. The man arrived at the zoo with bloody puncture wounds up and down both arms. It stayed still. So, he picked it up. Evidently, it was not amused.

Joining PETA as the petition’s signatories are the Animal Kingdom Foundation Inc. That's not true. There are activists in every country of the world.

Fish & Wildlife comes in response to a lawsuit brought by the Center for Biological Diversity.

But it wasn’t all that diabolical when you consider that it was the Queens Zoo that served as the setting and I also left this clue: “a knowledge of what birds can be seen in my fine borough will be of great assistance to you.&# Those who are really familiar with Queens should know what birds are in the zoo named for our borough.
