Back then, in 2012, the motivation was to have something nice to blog about and to show Corey how the cow eats the cabbage since he was seeing too many good species too easily. Therefore, I greatly expanded the structure of my year list in 2013 to include maps, statistics and a diary. This was fun. And a lot of work.

But the cow part? The irony of the cow part is that much of this Oprah show was about slavery. The irony of the inclusion of the cow in The Girl Effect is that it swaps one form of slavery for another. Yesterday was World AIDS Day and I anticipated her doing a thoughtful program, which I think she did. Human slavery, of course.

Since Twitter hadn’t been released yet, mainly for lack of phones, Thomas had a lot of time and he proceeded by scientifically and statistically refuting Buffon’s statements in his own book “ Notes on the State of Virginia”. Disappointingly, a very interesting area was closed off for the cows to rest (what about a nice stable?)

I understand where you might not agree with your idea of a single person making a decision like this but what you do not realize is how many people who specialize in this area go over this idea and double and triple check the statistics before something like this is proposed.
