The imperfection comes at the end of the editorial with: "Earlier this year, New Mexico repealed its death penalty, joining 14 other states — and the District of Columbia — that do not allow it. But that doesn't mean we should work toward abolishing the death penalty first, and then move to the case of animals. This is amazing.
