As so often happens when I go birding, I was adopted by a couple of local dogs. Dogs are much more patient with the stop-and-go rhythm of my birding walks, than my wife is. The current incarnation of this birdbath rests on a large pot, putting it out of reach of our curious small dog. I’m curious whether our California readers have a similar experience.
