A Chance for Bliss takes in and provides lifetime care for senior and special needs animals, as well as those others who are facing end of life circumstances. The purpose is therefore to provide a Forever Home for those companion and farm animals that have virtually no chance of being adopted due to their age or condition.

In fact, a whole lot of semi-vegans can do much more for animals than the tiny number of people who are willing to give up all animal products and scrupulously read labels. Farm animals also benefit from the humane farming movement, even if the animal welfare changes it effects are not all that we should hope and work for.

Says DeGeneres: “Did you know that every year between 250 and 300 million turkeys are bred for slaughter in the United States? Elizabeth, who demurs “This Thanksgiving, give a turkey the royal treatment;”.
