I did tweet about " Scientists Say Dolphins Should Be Treated As 'Non-human Persons' " yesterday, as I think this is a Gray Matter for a lot of people and might be interesting to explore. Would you actually actively campaign against rights for some species? Of course, the size of a brain isn't what's important.

Rational: species; the principle distinguishing man from beast. The preference for differentiation at the species level is an unjustified presupposition of the philosophic tradition. Once before, around the time of Plato and Aristotle, the dolphins began tentatively to approach man. True Irrationality. Transcendence.
