Of course, there are things that we hate about birding, as per Kai Pflug’s blog of August 15, 2024. But, I think there are so many pluses. Otherwise, why would we be getting up early, baking in the sun or shivering in the cold, to get that one special bird? 1. Spending time with the nice birders. These are the people, often far away, who share their tips about favourite spots.

The smoke alarm chirp that goes off either in a video or in my house scares my dog to the point she's inconsolable. She's better now but for 30 minutes she was shaking and panting. Obviously best case scenario I just try to stop her from having to hear them cause I'm worried it might hurt her ears. Anyone else have similar experiences or know why?
