Where to See Kiwi (and other birds) During the Rugby World Cup

The Centre takes kiwi eggs from the wild, when they are vulnerable to introduced predators, and rears them until they are old enough to survive in the wild. This is a good place to see the endangered and beautiful Yellowhead and the endemic Yellow-eyed Penguin.
