Because she was very busy with finals, she left Izzy with her parents, who had never had a dog in their lives (she said it was a cultural thing--they're from Haiti and don't have the same relationship with dogs as we do in the United States, and having been to Haiti I know what she's talking about). Any advice?

As a vegan, part of what I believe is that bringing animals onto this planet to use them as food or as pets isn't ethical. Many vegans also believe that bringing people onto this planet isn't ethical, but I'm more of the school that says that if you have the urge to parent, having a biological child isn't in opposition to veganism.
