When taking the issue to simplest common denominator, spaying/neutering is essentially exercising human dominance over non-human animals. But my stance is also categorized under Gray Matters because, in my perfect world, we wouldn't be spaying or neutering anybody. Tags: Activism Current Affairs Ethics Gray Matters.

I'd rather trap a feral cat and have her spayed. Tags: Activism Current Affairs Ethics Language. Maybe sugar processed with bone char isn't worth boycotting a restaurant over. Maybe it is. Arguing about that line with other vegans, though, doesn't interest me. But enough of that, where do you stand on the sugar/restaurant issue?

Change will take place only when governments work with local and international animal welfare groups and concerned individuals to address the root of the problem through education and humane methods of population control, such as spaying and neutering.
