Bill Richardson is asking to tour a former medical research lab in southern New Mexico that houses more than 200 chimpanzees. The animals can be used again for medical experiments if transferred to the Southwest National Primate Research Center in San Antonio, Texas. From the AP.

In other words, eBird is effectively a complete history of my birding experiences. Birding trips to Florida , New Mexico , and Texas are obvious too. I started eBirding about the same time I started birding, and I made an early executive decision (a very good one) that any pre-eBird observations simply did not count.

It is this season we experience vast musical repertoires, green canopies, hot air, and bustling energy. Their range of breeding is literally only very southern Wyoming to very northern New Mexico.
