Yet More Good News for Project Treadstone

She said her Trapper Man could go to the Project Treadstone site--last night and this morning--and trap up to 10 cats that she would bring to Pahokee. However, she does have people who can help, and now that Pahokee's open they will focus some time each week on Project Treadstone!

On Charles and Project Treadstone

As for Project Treadstone, there have been three fatalities-by-automobile and one litter of three kittens, two of whom were caught and adopted fairly early. Finally, I was asked to participate in a new TNR group in my town that started largely because of my oodles of questions and setting of policy for Project Treadstone!

Here's the biggest feral cat I've ever seen, who looks like somebody's house cat. And what's a week at Project Treadstone without the obligatory black cat. There are likely 30 unsterilized cats remaining, but they're doing a very good job of avoiding yours truly. Big Tom is what they call him.

From the feral cats of Project Treadstone to Charles' back surgery to problems with Violet's Vetsulin (insulin for dogs), we had more than our share of issues. As for Project Treadstone, after several false starts, trapping, spaying and neutering will resume next week.
