Opportunistic Herons Catching Fish

Earlier this summer I convinced the eBird hotspot maven for New York, Ben Cacace, to make Bridge Creek a hotspot and so far I am the only one who has taken advantage of it. One of the black-crowns and the Green Heron were clearly in hunting mode, leaning over the water, staring intently. Fresh fish for breakfast!
