It's too bad that Latimer's presentation is so obnoxious, as even when he raises what might be valid points, he makes you want to disagree with him. And one of that handful is the environment. He clearly hasn't heard of the low-hanging fruit concept. As for the ethic being cynical, I don't understand that so I cannot comment.

But I saw on television that certain animal-rights activists demonstrated against the wearing of furs. The message is that wearing fur is wrong. Apparently, the primary consumers of furs these days are young, career-oriented women. They consider furs a luxury item, a sign that one has “made it” in the business world.
