Rock & Rawhide , a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that aims to increase adoptions for dogs and cats in shelters by providing toys and other items that serve as a form of distraction therapy, reducing the stress and noise levels. This shelter has hundreds of dogs and cats coming and going on a daily basis and need our help!

Every year, roughly 3 million lost dogs and cats end up in shelters in the United States. Sharleen D from Arcadia, CA plans to take pictures of all the lost pets at her local animal shelter and make an album on facebook and share it with her friends. Lost pets is a growing issue that teens care about.

The event is to be held at Pacha on Thursday, October 22, 2009, and all funds raised will benefit the city’s broad rescue, shelter and adoption services. AC&C takes in all homeless pets, including the over 120 new animals on the streets every day.
