According to the HBW entry for this species, it “has been claimed that loss of native mammals after European settlement created shortage of nesting material, explaining this species’ penchant for taking hair from humans.” These two Grey-crowned Babblers look remarkably like Statler and Waldorf, the two old men of the Muppets Show.

Dogs can differentiate dilutions of 1 part per billion, follow faint odor trails, and are 10,000 times more sensitive than humans to certain odors.

They thought it would be vulgar. Somehow it led to animals.”.

“Now the kangaroos are drinking from the pool” (Jen is from Australia). Even though I usually side with eBird (they seem more human to me, see the woodpecker description above), in this case, the HBW description probably makes more sense. I am paralyzed just thinking about how to do it.
