Sometimes I'm just embarrassed to be human. It was reported that two men were arrested for attempting to transport the baby tiger carcass - along with the bones of at least two tigers - and that the “case showed the possibility of larger-scale tiger trafficking in the country.” The baby tiger was between four and five months old.

whether it be animal rights or human rights. Tags: India wildlife trafficking poaching tigers china. I don't trust the Chinese government on any issue. What kind of protection do they really mean? You can put tigers on a farm for legal parts harvesting and still call it "protection." I'm too, too cynical.

There is a photo of him caring for a White-chinned Sapphire in the book, the only human pictured in Dunn’s 16-page collection of hummingbird photographs, and it is inspiring. A good part of The Glitter in the Green is devoted to the history of how hummingbirds have been treated and depicted and valued or not valued by human beings.
