Being lazy, a bunch of researchers used camera traps to investigate the species rather than following the birds directly (which would have had some health benefits). BirdingAsia has a report on the first Rosy Pipit seen in Mongolia. The Tibetan Snowcock at first glance looks a bit like Obelix to me – I guess it is the stripes.
