Clearly, there's no spay/neuter program in this place. That move prompted an uproar in northern Mexico after animal rights groups argued the government was barking up the wrong tree, and they demanded the town stop what they called unnecessary “dog killings.” There's a stray dog problem in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico.

When taking the issue to simplest common denominator, spaying/neutering is essentially exercising human dominance over non-human animals. But my stance is also categorized under Gray Matters because, in my perfect world, we wouldn't be spaying or neutering anybody. And this is one of them. But who cares about me?

This crisis calls for mandatory spay and neuter legislation.

… The ordinance would allow Minneapolis residents to establish cat “colonies” where abandoned and wild cats can be fed but also vaccinated, neutered and identified in an effort to humanely cut their population and control disease. Feeding bans don’t stop cats from “multiplying”; neutering does.

They have been so successful in suckering cities and other municipalities into believing that they can solve their feral cat problems through Trap-Neuter-Return (T-N-R) that now citizens of those towns have had their eyes (and their noses) opened to what happens when the inmates run the asylum. Pity the poor souls at Alley Cat Allies.
