Tiphys died either of a snakebite or of a mysterious illness but he was not killed by either a tiger or a rhinoceros. He was also nearly strangled by a pet python that he kept. I guess he should have stuck with the substantially less dangerous trogons. Lucky him, right? Though he ended up dead anyway.

Is this really the nation that gave the world Monty Python?). Pros – it can kill you (like most proper Australian animals), is essentially a dinosaur. Also, is only found in Queensland, which makes one think it’s probably already suffered enough. This awesome bird actually tried to kill me. Yes, I am five).
