Young Black-footed Albatross ( Phoebastria nigripes ) feeding on the carcass of a dead Laysan Albatross ( Phoebastria immutabalis ) I have never been able to find another reference to this behaviour, so I can conclude that it is either vanishingly rare or simply underreported.
