However, we were somewhat encouraged by spotting at least 10 herds of Blue Sheep (locally known as Bharal) on the slopes around this lower valley.

There was a senseless killing last night. Someone entered the premises of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum , cut the lock on the bighorn sheep exhibit, and shot the male bighorn to death. Then—and here's the grisly part—the assailant cut the sheep's head off. Police officers speculate that the killing was cult related.

We kill so many living creatures when we build a house, construct a road, drive down that road or just walk on a path.
