Picathartes – Africa’s strangest birds

The friendly children of Bonkro village will soon have a school which is currently being constructed from conservation funds raised as a result of the nearby picathartes colony. They also occur in Liberia, Ivory Coast and Guinea. Gray-necked Picathartes foraging in leaf-litter on the forest floor in Korup National Park, Cameroon.
