Most shelter animals are spayed or neutered, have been treated for worms, and have at least their first set of shots. Contact The Humane Society of the United States to locate a nearby rescue group. Good for You: Adopting an orphaned animal keeps it from having to be euthanized. Incredible Bulk.

Poor countries with lots of trash on the streets and no spay/neuter clinics definitely have more street dogs. But that doesn’t mean the United States doesn’t have any. Street dogs aren’t someone else’s problem. Yup, I was rescued in Africa. Millions of American street dogs (and cats!)

Project Treadstone If anyone in Palm Beach County wants to get involved in the Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) of feral cats, now is the time, as the county's Spay Shuttle is back in business (but for a whopping $40/cat rather than the original $15), and Pahokee ($25/cat) is open as well. a list of those entitled to welfare benefits from the State.
