Penguins here! <pause> There are few bird names that will elicit great big smiles and Penguin is one of them. I’ve been fortunate to see two Penguin species in the wild (African and Galapagos) and have dreamed of seeing more–maybe even all! <pause> Do I have your attention now?

The temptation will be to jump to the Wildlife sections. Who can resist penguins and whales? Nor is it about Georgia, the country in Eurasia.

This spurred her to pursue a career in environmental education and wildlife nature tourism as a park ranger in Texas and as the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail Coordinator with Florida Fish and Wildlife. It is still volcanically active with researchers periodically discovering new flows.

Mark]: This luscious book, Penguins: The Ultimate Guide , by De Roy, Jones, and Cornthwaite, is the second edition of a book first published in 2015. But this is more than a coffee table book.

I did that with Peacocks & Picathartes – Reflections on Africa’s birdlife (published by Penguin Random House South Africa ). And apart from local people, primate researchers sometimes spot it, but it is a species seen by fewer than ten living birders. From 1923 to 1948 Chapin served as associate curator of ornithology in the AMNH.
