I honestly don’t understand the need to sneak up on a snail but then again what do I know, when I was little I had a pet turtle that ran away. I had never before seen a Limpkin do this. It would hold its wing out as it walked. Finally, I was able to single out a Green Ibis for a photo.

I also really love the sea turtle, and the “petting” area where you can touch little sharks and rays. Penguins are one of my favorite things to visit at the aquarium. Of course, the gift shop is a lot of fun too, they even have this big “Bruce the shark” hanging out there.

Or that tortoises and terrapins are considered part of the turtle family.

I don't know if she was being sarcastic, but in my town I see dead armadillos, opossums, raccoons, all manner of turtles, and squirrels dead in the middle of the road frequently. I tweeted about a similar incident about a month ago and someone replied that she was glad there was someone fighting for the safe-dining rights of hawks.
